Do you keep piles of magazines? Maybe because there are photos inside the pages that you just love and think "someday". Let's get those magazine mountains moved and replaced with a simple system of organize your decorating and home ideas:

First, start off with an expandable envelope style folder. Next, tear out pages you love and organize them. You may need up to twelve dividers or tabs to organize effectively. Here is an alphabetical list of suggested categories:

ACCESSORIES: Includes table settings, mantel displays, and coffee table vignettes

FLOWER/PLANT IDEAS: This section ranges from container gardens to curb appeal ideas

GENERAL IDEAS: This is your miscellaneous ideas of various things that don't easily fit into another section

KID IDEAS: Everything having to do with the children's rooms and toy storage

FURNITURE ARRANGEMENTS: clever arrangements can make the room function better. Be on the look out for these no-cost problem solver ideas.

ORGANIZING: Inspirational ideas for book cases, home offices and kitchens are placed in this section.

PAINT IDEAS/COLORS: Specific wall colors, color schemes, fabric combinations and even paint manufacture's paint sample cards are placed in this tab.

PICTURE/ WALL ART DISPLAY: How art and wall displays are done have changed in the last five years. Make sure you include current ideas for this section. You will be amazed at all the distinctive arrangements out there.

REMODELING/STAGING: Bigger projects go here. When planning a major remodel also consider the resale value it adds. Home Staging (market prep) ideas go here too.

SEASONAL: Decorating ideas for fall and spring. Include fall and spring holiday like Thanksgiving and Easter here.

WINDOW TREATMENT IDEAS: Curtain styles are evolving too. Be sure to look at current magazine and catalogs so you don't spend lots of money on an out-of-date style. Match up the style of window in the image with your own window.

(CHRISTMAS) X-MAS IDEAS: There are lots of creative holiday decorating ideas in magazines. Bring the sparkle back in the holidays with unique decorating tips you have found.
