Wouldn't it be nice to have clear skin? Well of course, and it's something that I asked myself a lot. Yet, even though we're in an age where miracle cures are easily found, strangely, it took me a long time to find an acne cure.
I always suffered from bad acne. Before I had it, I used to be an outgoing sociable person, until I hit my teen years and the hormones took over. Suddenly, all the social skills I had built disappeared along with my confidence. I hated looking in the mirror and seeing another spot in the morning. So I tried these so called "miracle cures". Yeah, we've all seen them on TV and advertised in other places. "Cure your acne in only 7 days!", "Gain perfectly clear skin for only $229.99!".
I tried them all. Creams, cleansers, toners, washes, masks. You name it; I know for a fact that I tried it. Some seemed to work for a few days, then they just stopped having a benefit. Some didn't work at all. And a large number had a bad effect on my skin. I found this crazy, I'd just paid all this money for acne treatment and it was making my skin worse? I often found:
· My acne would flare up more after I used these treatments.
· The spots that had been naturally disappearing came back.
· In places I'd usually had clear skin spots would appear.
At one point the bathroom cupboard was full of these acne treatments. When I eventually got rid of my acne, it took fifteen minutes to move the bottles into the garbage. The amount of money I spent on treatments makes me shudder, I could work out the amount but it would seriously upset me.
So many of these treatments were so useless that I almost gave up and just gave in to the fact that I had naturally bad skin. But I didn't, acne is a disease and I was unlucky enough to catch it. Yet due to all these "miracle cures", I very nearly gave up and would have had to live my teen years and early twenties with acne.
Then, my friend mentioned an eBook to me. He had previously had acne, but recently it had disappeared. I'd never thought to question why as I'd pretty much given up on my skin, but the results I saw on him were amazing. When he started telling me about this eBook I was hesitant at first. I remembered the hundreds of bottles of treatment I had at home, and it disheartened me. But luckily, he kept pushing me to get it and eventually I bought a copy.
Wow. That was my first thought. I read the book through and it mentioned things that I'd never even thought about. It featured step-by-step instructions on how to get rid of my problem. The book taught something that no other treatment had, and that was to aim for the root of the acne problem. All the other treatments were just cover up's and basically cleaned your skin. But this was different.
After just a month and a half's use my acne was gone. My skin was completely clear. Suddenly, my social skills returned and I became confident and outgoing again. Acne had been holding me back in my job, in my personal life and in my social life. I gained a promotion, a met a girlfriend and I made lots of new friends all within two months of completing my acne treatment.
I hate to see other people suffering from acne, especially as I'm like some kind of magic genie who holds the key to the cure. So I want to spread the knowledge and help others with the horrible problem that I had.
