Not all acne products work and sometimes the best way to treat your problem is actually through natural methods. So, if you have tried the many acne treatments available but they have not yet worked for you, why not follow some of these simple tips:

o Ensure That You Cleanse Your Face

You may be aware that cleansing the face is important if you want to stop an acne problem from becoming worse. While uncleanliness is not the main cause of acne, it can potentially make it worse. So, using a mild cleanser or a mild soap can really help to keep the pores unblocked, which in turn will stop excess oil from building up and causing a flare up.

o Drink More Water

We have all heard of the benefits of water, but if you do not drink enough, you may not realize that it can actually block your pores. This is because, when your skin does not get enough water, it starts to dry up and flake off. The flakes of skin then block the pores and so excess oil builds up and acne flares up, too. So, always ensure that you drink at least 8 glasses of water per day.

o Reduce Your Stress Levels

Stress has been known to cause acne to flare up. So ideally, you need to ensure that you are as de-stressed as possible. Do things that you enjoy doing whenever you feel like you are becoming stressed. Enjoy a nice long bath or watch a film or go out for a walk/run. Whatever it is that you enjoy doing, do it so that you do keep yourself as de-stressed as possible.Acne is a nightmare to get rid of. However, with the right knowledge, you can do certain things to ensure that you minimize the risk of developing the condition as much as possible.
