Using Free Hypnosis Scripts
Free hypnosis scripts are available all over the internet. Their quality varies a bit but generally they're of a reasonable standard because the person sharing the free hypnosis script wants you to be sufficiently impressed that you'll go on and buy some other scripts from them.
If you're looking to use a free hypnosis script as a basis for your recording, here's what you should be doing.
First, find a free hypnosis script that reads well. The best way to work this out is to put yourself in a room where people won't think you are going crazy and read some or all of the script out loud.
Notice whether the script reads "naturally" and whether you stumble over any words.
If the free hypnosis script passes this test, it's worth using either on its own or as a basis for your own modifications.
Once you've downloaded the free hypnosis script, it's time to prepare it before you read it out.
I find that it's best to put in a couple line breaks every time I want to pause. We tend to pause at the end of a paragraph, so this trick allows my mind to remember to pause when I read the script out.
Next, check the wording in the script.
Everyone has different ways of saying things.
Sometimes words will be placed in a hypnosis script for emphasis. Or to send a command to your mind to do something. Now. This instant.
If these triggers aren't there, you may want to drop a few of them into the hypnosis script. Be careful that you don't change the meaning or intention of the script when you do this. Remember, it's your mind you are dealing with. If in doubt, leave it to the experts and buy a pre-recorded hypnosis session.
Once you're happy with your hypnosis script, it's time to switch off your cell phone, hang a "do not disturb" sign on your door and start recording. If you haven't got a decent audio recording software then download the superb Audacity for free.
Then it's a matter of tweaking your recording, getting rid of all those "ums" and "errs" and other glitches.
Once you've done that, you're almost ready to play your newly recorded hypnosis script back to yourself. You may want to add some gentle backing music or the sound of ocean waves first - it's up to you, but most people find this helps with their hypnosis session.
